  • Andrew R. Lane

    Chairman, President & CEO

    MRC Global since 2008

    Mr. Lane has served as our president and chief executive officer (“CEO”) since September 2008 and our chairman of the Board since December 2009. He has also served as a director of MRC Global Inc. since September 2008. From December 2004 to December 2007, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Halliburton Company, an international, oilfield services firm. Prior to that, he held a variety of leadership roles within Halliburton. Mr. Lane received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1981 (cum laude). He also completed the Advanced Management Program (A.M.P.) at Harvard Business School in 2000. Mr. Lane is uniquely qualified to serve as one of our directors due to his extensive executive and leadership experience in the oil and natural gas industry, including oilfield services, and his in-depth knowledge of our operations.

  • James E. Braun

    Executive VP & CFO

    James E. Braun has served as our executive vice president and chief financial officer since November 2011. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Braun served as chief financial officer of Newpark Resources, Inc. since 2006. Newpark provides drilling fluids and other products and services to the oil and gas exploration and production industry, both inside and outside of the U.S. Before joining Newpark, Mr. Braun was chief financial officer of Baker Oil Tools, one of the largest divisions of Baker Hughes Incorporated, a leading provider of drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production products and services to the worldwide oil and gas industry. From 1998 until 2002, he was vice president, finance and administration, of Baker Petrolite, the oilfield specialty chemical business division of Baker Hughes. Previously, he served as vice president and controller of Baker Hughes. Mr. Braun is a CPA and was formerly a partner with Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Braun received a B.A. in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

  • Daniel J. Churay

    Executive VP Corporate Affairs, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

    Daniel J. Churay has served as our executive vice president corporate affairs, general counsel and corporate secretary since May 2012. In his current role, Mr. Churay manages the company’s human resources, legal, risk compliance, safety , marketing, quality, corporate services and external and government affairs functions. He also acts as corporate secretary to the company’s board of directors. Prior to May 2012, Mr. Churay served as executive vice president and general counsel since August 2011 and as our corporate secretary since November 2011. From December 2010 to June 2011, he served as president and CEO of Rex Energy Corporation, an independent oil and gas company. From September 2002 to December 2010, Mr. Churay served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of YRC Worldwide Inc., a Fortune 500 transportation and logistics company, with primary responsibility for YRC Worldwide Inc.’s legal, risk, compliance and external affairs matters, including its internal audit function. During 2010, Mr. Churay also supervised YRC’s Chinese businesses. From 1995 to 2002, Mr. Churay served as the deputy general counsel and assistant secretary of Baker Hughes Incorporated, a Fortune 500 company that provides products and services to the petroleum and continuous process industries, where he was responsible for legal matters relating to acquisitions, divestitures, treasury matters and securities offerings. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Churay was an attorney at the law firm of Fulbright and Jaworski LLP in Houston, Texas. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the National Association of Corporate Directors. He also serves on the board of directors of the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Churay received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas and a juris doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was a member of the Law Review.

  • Steiner Aasland

    Senior VP - Europe Region

    Steinar Aasland has served as our senior vice president – Europe since April 2014. Prior to this role, he was the CEO of STREAM AS, which was acquired by MRC Global in 2014, and was responsible for all business activities of its three Subsidiaries, Teamtrade, Solberg & Andersen and Energy Piping. Mr. Aasland has more than 20 years of executive management experience in the PVF industry. Mr. Aasland currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Stavanger Chamber of Commerce. He is a mechanical engineer and holds a masters degree in strategy and management.

  • John Bowhay

    Senior VP - Asia Pacific and Middle East Region

    John Bowhay has served as senior vice president – Asia Pacific and Middle East since April 2014. Previously, Mr. Bowhay served as vice president of European operations since August 2013. Prior to this role, Mr. Bowhay served as the managing director for our United Kingdom operations and prior to that role, he was the vice president of sales in the U.K. He brings more than 29 years of industry experience and valve expertise to the MRC Global team. Mr. Bowhay attended the London Business School.

  • James E. Dionisio

    Senior VP Energy Tubular Products

    Jim E. Dionisio has served as our senior vice president of energy tubular products since September 2014. Prior to this role Mr. Dionisio served as senior vice president of supply chain tubular products since January 2009. Prior to that, he was the chief operating officer of Red Man Distributors since January 2008. Before that, he was manager of OCTG from August 2006 to December 2008. Before joining MRC Global, Mr. Dionisio was the vice president of sales with Sheffield Steel Corporation from July 1999 to July 2006. Before that, he was vice president of sales with CF&I Steel Corporation and Rocky Mountain Steel and held a variety of operating and sales positions from September 1972 to July 1999. Mr. Dionisio received a B.S. in metallurgical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He has also taken executive financial and business course work at Stanford University. He is a member of the Independent Producers Association and a member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors.

  • Scott A. Hutchinson

    Senior VP - North America Operations

    Scott A. Hutchinson has served as senior vice president – North America since September 2014. Prior to this role, Mr. Hutchinson was the senior vice president of global business processes, and, before that, he was our senior vice president of Canada operations. Prior to that role, Mr. Hutchinson served as our executive vice president of North America operations beginning in November 2009. From January 2009 to November 2009 he served as our senior vice president of the Eastern region covering most operational units east of the Mississippi River. Mr. Hutchinson’s extensive background in branch sales and operations was instrumental as he led the integration effort of the Midwest, Eastern and Appalachian regions. From October 1998 to January 2009, he served as senior vice president of our Midwest region. During this time he was key in the acquisitions and integration of Wilkins Supply, Joliet Valve, Cigma and Valvax, solidifying and expanding the market reach of the Company in the Midwest. From May 1988 to October 1998 he worked in various field positions including branch manager, regional manager and regional vice president in our Western Region. From 1984 to 1988, he served as outside sales representative for Grant Supply in Houston, Texas which became part of our company in 1987. Prior to joining us, Mr. Hutchinson worked for Fluor Corporation in procurement. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida.

  • Rory M. Isaac

    Senior VP Business Development

    Rory M. Isaac has served as senior vice president of business development since September 2014. Prior to this role, he served as executive vice president of international operations, and, before that, he was executive vice president of corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Isaac served as the executive vice president of global business development from December 2008 to September 2012. From 2007 to 2008, he served as our senior corporate vice president of sales (focusing on downstream, industrials and natural gas utilities operations) since November 2007. From 2000 to 2007 he served as our senior vice president of national accounts, utilities and marketing. From 1995 to 2000 he served as our senior vice president of national accounts. Mr. Isaac joined MRC Global in 1981. He has extensive experience in sales, customer relations and management, and has served at MRC Global as a branch manager, regional manager and regional vice president. In 1995 he began working in our corporate office in Charleston, West Virginia as senior vice president for national accounts where he was responsible for managing and growing our national accounts customer base and directing business development efforts into integrated supply markets. Prior to joining MRC Global, Mr. Isaac worked at Consolidated Services, Inc. and Charleston Supply Company. Mr. Isaac attended the Citadel.

  • Gary A. Ittner

    Senior VP Valves, Fittings, Flanges, Alloys & Oilfield Supply

    Gary A. Ittner has served as senior vice president of valves, fittings, flanges, alloys and oilfield supply since September 2014. Prior to this role, Mr. Ittner served as executive vice president of supply chain management, and, before that, as executive vice president of corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions since September 2012. From September 2010 to May 2012, he served as our executive vice president of global supply chain management and as our chief administrative officer. Prior to that, he served as our executive vice president—supply chain management from October 2008 to September 2010 after he had served as our senior corporate vice president of supply chain management from February 2007 to October 2008, having specific responsibility for the procurement of all industrial valves, automation, fittings and alloy tubular products. From March 2001 to November 2007, he served as our senior corporate vice president of supply chain management. Before joining the supply chain management group, Mr. Ittner worked in various field positions including branch manager, regional manager and senior regional vice president. He is a past chairman of the executive committee of the American Supply Association’s Industrial Piping Division. Mr. Ittner began working at MRC Global in 1971 following his freshman year at the University of Cincinnati and joined the company full-time following his graduation in 1974.
